PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds aka PUBG released on December 20, 2021, is a popular multiplayer video game. PUBG is a third-person/first-person shooter game available on various platforms including Windows, PS4, Smartphones, and Xbox. PUBG was already free on Android and iOS from the beginning but it was priced at $30 in Windows, PS4, and Xbox until now. It was recently announced the game was going free for all from January and it’s finally here.
Is PUBG Free on PS4, Xbox and PC?
Yes, PUBG is completely free on PS4, PC, and Xbox starting January 12, 2022. You can download the game from the Store. The game is approx. 41GB on the size of PS4 and 30GB on PC. You can now download and enjoy the unlimited battle royale without having to pay for it. The free version of the game gives you most of the content for free but if you want special items, skins, and additional content, you can purchase the PUBG Plus version and unlock premium content.
If you previously purchased the PUBG on PS4 at a full price, you’ll be automatically upgraded to the PUBG Plus version and all the additional premium content will be available to you.
