Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Price, Gameplay, and Available Platforms for 2022

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the next chapter in the Assassin’s Creed series, developed by the game development studio Ubisoft Quebec, in collaboration with the Ubisoft Milan, Ubisoft Singapore and Ubisoft Montreal studios. The game is set in Ancient Greece and features a new protagonist and a new cast of characters, with the main character being Alexios, descendant of the legendary Spartan king Leonidas.

Regardless of the reviews, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is one the best game in the series. We could already see the game was moving towards the RPG franchise from the gameplay of Assassin’s creed Origins and it did. The Assassin’s Creed is a role-playing third-person single-player game that is set in the era of Spartans. If you have heard “Spartans” by The Sabaton, you can probably hear the song throughout the game. It’s that good!

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Gameplay

Ubisoft’s latest entry in their long-running action-adventure series is probably the best Assassin’s Creed game yet. The game tells an epic story of revenge as you work through the ancient Greek underworld, fighting to save your family from a toxic cult. It has some of the best visuals we’ve ever seen in an Assassin’s Creed game. The gameplay is similar to the predecessor of the series, however, we can see some major changes to fighting modes, weapons, parkour style, inventory and more.

Many gamers think Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was much better than Assassin’s Creed Origins due to various improvements on graphics and gameplay while some beg to differ. As of 2021, the price of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Standard Edition is $59.99 on PS4, Windows and Xbox. With the new release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the price for the Odyssey will likely decrease. You can get a good discount during special events as well.
